Gluten-free matcha cake with a delicate green tea flavor, moist and tender, easy to prepare and optionally refined with white chocolate coating.

Ingredients

    For the cake:

  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 Packet of vanilla sugar
  • 5 Eggs
  • 200 g KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 10 g Matcha green tea powder
  • 100 g white chocolate coating

Preparation

  1. Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat and grease a loaf pan (30 cm) and dust with flour.
  2. Prepare the dough
    Mix the butter with the sugar, vanilla sugar and salt using a mixer, adding the eggs one at a time and beating until fluffy.
  3. Mix dry ingredients
    Mix KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK with baking powder and green tea powder and stir in.
  4. Bake
    Pour the batter into a 30 cm loaf pan and bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 50-60 minutes (test with a skewer). Then let it cool completely.
  5. Cool and garnish
    Optionally, melt white chocolate coating in a water bath and spread it evenly over the cake.
