A crispy treat with a hearty aroma that is easy to make and a delight to eat in many different ways. Whether for sharing or for a little snack between meals – this dish is always perfect.

Ingredients

    For the dough:

  • 250 g KOMEKO KNUSPERLUST
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 20 g oil
  • 175 ml water
  • For the topping:

  • 2 Onions, thin half rings
  • 100 g bacon, diced
  • 0.5 cups of cream
  • 1 Cup of sour cream
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Chives

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven
    Preheat oven to 250 °C top/bottom heat.
  2. Prepare the dough
    Combine KOMEKO KNUSPERLUST and salt in a bowl. Add oil and water, and knead with a hand mixer (dough hook) until a dough forms. Then continue kneading the dough by hand and form it into a ball.
  3. Roll out the dough
    Roll out the dough very thinly on a floured work surface.
  4. Prepare the dough
    Place the dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  5. Prepare the topping
    Mix the sour cream and cream/Cremefine, season, and spread over the dough. Distribute the onions and bacon over the dough.
  6. Bake
    Bake in the preheated oven on the lowest rack for 15–20 minutes.
  7. Serve
    Sprinkle with chives before serving.
