These vanilla crescents cookies combine a crumbly pastry, delicate almonds, and the classic vanilla flavor to create an irresistible pastry. Easy to prepare and ideal for cozy afternoons or as a sweet snack between meals.

Ingredients

    For the dough:

  • 125 g butter, soft
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 Packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 200 g KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK
  • 100 g ground almonds
  • 1 pinch of baking powder
  • Miscellaneous:

  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • 1 Packet of vanilla sugar

Preparation

  1. Mix butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt until smooth.
  2. Stir in the egg.
  3. Mix KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK, ground almonds and baking powder and knead in.
  4. Chill the dough.
  5. Divide the dough into equal-sized pieces and shape into croissants (or place them in a croissant tray).
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for about 10-15 minutes.
  7. Mix powdered sugar with vanilla sugar.
  8. Roll the still-hot croissants in it – the colder they get, the less the sugar sticks.
  9. Serve and enjoy! Enjoy!
