Aromatic apple crumble with cinnamon and mulled wine – a warm dessert for cozy winter days.

For the crumble:

For the filling:

ml white mulled wine

Preparation
- Preheat oven
Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat (180 °C fan-assisted). - Prepare apples
Wash and peel apples, cut into bite-sized cubes and mix with brown sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon. - Reduce mulled wine
Briefly simmer the white mulled wine with 2 tablespoons of sugar in a saucepan until it reduces slightly. - Prepare crumble
For the crumble: Mix KOMEKO KNUSPERLUST, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add butter pieces and knead until crumbles form. - Put apples into the dish
Place the apple cubes in a lightly buttered casserole dish (18 x 18 cm) and pour the reduced mulled wine over them. - Spread the crumbles and bake
Spread the crumble evenly over the apples and bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
Our tip: Sprinkle with powdered sugar while still warm or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
