Ingredients

    For the mixture in the glass:

  • 200 g KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 100 g unrefined sugar
  • 2 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 tsp ground cloves
  • 125 g gluten-free oat flakes
  • 100 g white chocolate chips
  • 100 g candied ginger, chopped
  • Additional ingredients:

  • 110 g butter, soft
  • 100 g maple syrup
  • 75 g honey
  • 1 egg (size M)

Preparation


Prepare the mixture:

  • Layer the ingredients into a jar – first KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK, mixed with baking powder, baking soda and salt, then sugar, spices, oatmeal, chocolate chips and candied ginger.
  • Press each layer firmly and close the jar.
  • Tip:Write the recipe on a pretty card and give it away along with the jar.

Recipe:

  1. Prepare the dough:
    Melt the butter, maple syrup, and honey in a large saucepan and mix well. Let cool for about 5 minutes, then add the contents of the jar and mix thoroughly.
  2. Form cookies:
    Form dough balls about 4 cm in size and let rest in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  3. Bake:
    Preheat oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat) (160°C fan/convection oven). Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, flatten slightly (about 4 cm apart), and bake for about 10 minutes, until the surface begins to pop.
  4. Let cool:
    Let cookies rest on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and let cool completely.
