These brownies are the highlight of any Halloween buffet: moist, chocolatey, and topped with green frosting and fun Frankenstein-style decorations. Easy to make, creative to decorate, and guaranteed to be a hit with young and old.

Ingredients

    For the dough:

  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 200 g butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 250 g sugar
  • 160 g KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • For the frosting:

  • 300 g cream cheese
  • 100 g butter, soft
  • 100 g sugar
  • green food coloring green food coloring
  • For decoration:

  • Sugar eyes Sugar eyes
  • chocolate sprinkles chocolate sprinkles
  • Mini marshmallows Mini marshmallows

Preparation

  1. Melt chocolate and mix dough
    Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Mix with the butter and let cool. Beat the eggs and sugar until creamy. Then stir in the lukewarm chocolate.
  2. Add dry ingredients
    Mix KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK flour with the cocoa, add to the chocolate mixture and mix everything well.
  3. Baking brownies
    Pour the dough into a 30 x 20 cm baking dish lined with baking paper. Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes. Let cool in the dish.
  4. Prepare the frosting
    Mix the cream cheese with the butter and sugar until creamy. Then color it with green food coloring to your liking.
  5. Spread and cut brownies
    Spread the cream cheese frosting on the brownie batter and cut it into equal-sized pieces.
  6. Decorate
    Decorate each piece with two sugar eyes and brown chocolate sprinkles for hair and mouth. Attach a mini marshmallow to the cream on each side.

Our tip:You can also make the eyes yourself out of marzipan and small chocolate drops with a little intuition.
