Preparation
- Prepare the dough
Preheat oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Beat eggs until frothy, slowly adding the sugar. Add the vegetable oil and stir in. - Add color
Now slowly add the food coloring. Depending on the food coloring, you may need a little more or less. Follow the package instructions. - Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl mis KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, vanilla pulp and a pinch of salt. - Finish the dough
Add the dry ingredients alternately with the buttermilk to the egg and sugar mixture and mix everything well. - Baking cupcakes
Pour the batter into paper muffin cups or a muffin tin. Bake the muffins in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 10-15 minutes. Then remove from the oven and let cool. - Prepare the frosting
For the frosting, beat the cream cheese and softened butter with the powdered sugar until fluffy. - Decorating cupcakes
Fill a piping bag with the frosting and spread it evenly on the cupcakes. Make sure the cupcakes are completely cooled, otherwise the frosting will melt. - Create a scary effect
For the “bloody” effect, spread some raspberry or strawberry sauce on the frosting.
