This vegan and gluten-free chestnut cake is the perfect soul food for cold days! Apple puree makes the dough wonderfully moist, while chestnut flour and KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK provide a fluffy, gluten-free texture. Refined with cinnamon and rounded off with a crisp chocolate coating, it's not only aromatic but also completely free of animal products – a true treat for everyone!

Ingredients
For the dough:

Preparation
- Prepare the dough:
Mix apple puree and oil, then add sugar and water and mix again. - Mix dry ingredients:
add KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK, chestnut flour, baking powder and cinnamon and mix everything into a smooth dough. - Bake:
Pour the batter into a baking pan lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) for approximately 30–35 minutes. Check with a skewer to see if the cake is cooked through. - Glaze & Decoration:
Once cooled, cover with melted chocolate and sprinkle with roasted hazelnuts. Allow to cool completely and serve. Enjoy!
