Ingredients

    For the dough:

  • 115 g butter (softened)
  • 150 g KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK
  • 55 g powdered sugar
  • 20 g ground almonds
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • For the filling:

  • 270 g dark chocolate coating
  • 170 g crème fraîche
  • 0.5 Cup Strong Espresso
  • 55 g butter
  • Mixed nuts (roughly chopped)
  • Cocoa powder (for dusting)

Preparation

  1. Prepare the dough:
Knead KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK, butter, powdered sugar, almonds, salt, vanilla sugar, and egg into a smooth dough. Wrap in foil and chill for about 1 hour.
  2. Bake the bottom:
Preheat oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Grease 15 cm tart pans. Divide the dough into thirds, roll out, and place in the pans, pressing the edges together and trimming off any excess dough. Prick the bases with a fork and bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown. Then let cool and remove from the pan.
  3. Prepare the filling:
Melt the chocolate coating, crème fraîche, and espresso over low heat while stirring. Gradually stir in the butter until a smooth cream forms. Add the nuts and divide the mixture between the three tarts.
  4. Cool:
Refrigerate the tarts for at least 2 hours. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
  5. Serve and enjoy: Bon appetit!
