Devil's Food Cake is a dream for all chocolate lovers! Made with gluten-free KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK, it's wonderfully moist and fluffy. The velvety chocolate cream provides an intense aroma and gives the cake its irresistibly creamy texture. Perfect for special occasions – or simply when you want to treat yourself to something truly delicious.

Ingredients

    For the dough:

  • 75 g water
  • 20 g beet syrup
  • 75 g dark chocolate couverture
  • 150 g butter
  • 175 g sugar
  • 3 eggs (size M)
  • 115 g KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK
  • 4 g baking powder
  • 40 g cocoa powder
  • To cover:

  • 250 g whipping cream
  • 400 g dark chocolate couverture
  • 50 g nougat

Preparation

  1. Prepare the chocolate mixture:
    Bring water and beet syrup to a boil. Melt chocolate and butter in it, then let it cool.
  2. Beat the egg mixture:
    Beat the sugar and eggs with a hand mixer until creamy and stable. Carefully fold in the cooled chocolate-butter mixture.
  3. Add dry ingredients:
    Mix KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK the baking powder and cocoa, sift and fold into the chocolate mixture until a smooth dough is formed.
  4. Bake:
    Pour the batter into a greased ring tin (Ø 26 cm) and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (top and bottom heat) for approximately 35 minutes. Then let it cool.
  5. Overcoat:
    Heat the heavy cream, melt the chocolate and nougat in it, and stir until smooth. Spread the glaze over the cooled cake.
