This chocolate banana bread is the perfect comfort food – moist, sweet, and wonderfully aromatic. The combination of ripe bananas and delicate chocolate pieces creates a natural flavor, while KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK gives the dough a wonderfully light and airy texture. Ingredients

    For the dough:

  • 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 75 g butter (softened)
  • 75 g white sugar
  • 75 g brown sugar
  • 1 Pinch of salt
  • 1 Egg (size M)
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 160 g KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 30 g chocolate pieces
  • a little cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Prepare bananas:
    Mash ripe bananas with a fork or purée them finely.
  2. To make butter mixture:
    Cream together butter, white and brown sugar. Add salt, eggs and milk and mix until smooth.
  3. Mix the dough:
    Fold in the mashed bananas. Mix together KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and chocolate pieces and stir into the dough.
  4. Bake:
    Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan (29x10x7 cm) and bake in a preheated oven at 170 °C top/bottom heat for about 60 minutes.
  5. Let cool and serve:
    Let the bread cool slightly, remove it from the pan and enjoy.
