Preparation
- Roast almonds:
Place the sliced and chopped almonds on a baking tray and lightly toast them in the oven or in a pan, then let them cool. - Mix the dough:
Mix butter, powdered sugar, salt, bitter almond flavoring and lemon zest, then fold in the egg. - Mix dry ingredients:
Mix the flour KOMEKO KUCHENGLÜCK and baking powder, then add the butter mixture and almonds and knead into a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in foil and chill for 1 hour. - Shaping and baking:
Briefly knead the dough, roll it out to a thickness of 2 cm, and cut it into rectangles or squares. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 190°C (top/bottom heat) for 12–15 minutes. - Decorate:
After cooling, decorate with melted chocolate coating
